Do We Really Need All That Shit?

Let’s be honest for a second.



If you listen to the health and wellness world long enough, you’ll feel like you need to be waking up at 5am,

journaling,

meditating,

cold plunging, (oh wait apparently that isnt good for women now?) or is it?

drinking celery juice,

avoiding gluten,

tracking your macros,

doing 10K steps a day,

lifting heavy, (but not too heavy because you dont want too muscle of course)

walking slow,

drinking 3L of water,

manifesting,

getting in your 8 hours,

balancing your hormones, (legit not even possible btw)

healing your inner child,

and staying off your phone before bed.

Oh, and don’t forget—gratitude practice.


That’s a lot.


And it’s not that any of it is wrong. It’s that it’s overwhelming, conflicting, and honestly? It makes us feel like crap because we can’t possibly do it all.



You start to wonder:

  • Am I lazy?

  • Am I broken?

  • Why can’t I stick with anything?

  • What’s wrong with me?


But maybe the real question is this:


Do I even want the thing I keep chasing?


Or have I just been told that I should want it?


This is the part no green juice can fix.

This is where the “try harder” approach doesn’t cut it.


What if the reason you keep “failing” isn’t because you’re weak, undisciplined, or unmotivated…But because you’re aiming at something that was never truly yours in the first place?


What if, instead of doing more, you gave yourself permission to pause and ask:

  • What’s actually going on here?

  • What’s underneath this pattern I keep repeating?

  • What do I want—like, really?


This is where real change starts—not with another habit tracker or a “this time I’ll really do it” plan.



But with getting to the root of your patterns. And doing it with someone who isn’t there to judge you—but to help you figure it the hell out, one honest, messy, liberating step at a time.
